How hard are the games?

Challenges are mostly puzzle-based and designed to encourage players to take different roles.
So, even if you think you won’t be good at one thing, your team will need everyone to win!

WHAT ABOUT VR SICKNESS?

While a small number of people may still have problems, vrCAVE’s game design has completely
eliminated VR sickness in most cases (even for those who often experience motion sickness) by
syncing in-game movement with natural movement.

DO I NEED TO BE A GAMER?

Nope! vrCAVE’s escape rooms are designed to be intuitive. You’ll walk around as you normally
would in the real world, and you’ll reach out with your hands and use just one button to interact
with things.

WILL MY GLASSES FIT?

In most cases, glasses will fit inside the headsets. However, especially wide or large glasses may
not work — we advise not wearing glasses if you can, or using contact lenses.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Clothes that allow you to reach out and walk around easily and socks are best!

HOW MANY PEOPLE  DO I NEED?

VR escape rooms are designed with group play in mind. You will want to play with at least 2
people — but it only gets more fun with more people!

DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?

Yes all participants must sign a waiver prior to playing.  Players ages 10-17 years old must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Why do we have an age policy?

We understand that some families may be disappointed by our minimum age requirement, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Our policy is that all participants must be 10 years of age or older.

Our escape rooms are designed primarily for teens and adults. The puzzles require teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that younger children often find challenging.

We’ve found that some children can struggle with the puzzles or lose interest during the experience which can sometimes lead to rougher play. Our headsets and controllers are specialized equipment, so we want to protect them and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.

For this reason, when a group includes children aged 10–12, we require that a parent or guardian also participates in the escape room experience. This helps ensure the children are supported throughout the game, improves the overall experience for the group, and helps us maintain the safety and care of our equipment.

To be fair to all of our guests, we apply this policy consistently and are unable to make exceptions. We’ve had to turn away families in the past, and making exceptions for some would not be fair to others who have respected our policy.
